Quick News bits

The Independent reports that the Prime Minister of Romania is against the new law that has come into force in Italy allowing the Italian state to remove criminals, rapists, spongers, parasites, proffesional beggars and pimps.

Romania's President, Traian Basescu, attacked the emergency law, saying: "Improvised measures that induce fear and awaken hatred can be unjust and can have other effects than those hoped." He said he condemned violence committed by Romanians, but also condemned "any acts of violence aimed against Romanian citizens as well as any speech that incites people to disrespect the civil rights of Romanian citizens, regardless of where they are in the EU".

Romania's Prime Minister, Calin Tariceanu, said his government would give legal support to those expelled and require "solid arguments" for expulsions. He arrives in Rome for talks with Mr Prodi tomorrow.

I HAVE NO DOUBT Traian Basescu IS SINCERE AND DOES NOT WANT THIS LAW TO BE ADOPTED EUROPE WIDE.

Since all the shit left Romania crime has dropped in the country by 26 % making it one of the safest nations in Europe.

The last thing Romania wants is all the thieving shit being thrown out of Italy and all the other European nations they have invaded and are robbing blind, and they all head back to Romania to start robbing the Romanians again.

Romania is a nice country to live in with all the shit living in Italy or coming to Britain.

You betcha that Traian will fight against this law coming into force across Europe.

Finally article from the Telegraph that is worthwhile.

As part of its Nov 14 series of 19th-century European art sales, which go on view on Friday, Sotheby's has produced a separate catalogue entitled Symbolism and the Poetic Tradition, which is Sotheby's first sale of this kind.

Art historians place the birth of Symbolist painting in mid-19th-century France and Belgium where the literary movement began with J K Huysmans, Baudelaire, Mallarmé and Verlaine. Its chief characteristic was philosophical – a retreat from industrialisation and bourgeois materialist culture into a dream-like spiritual world of mythology and mysticism.

Among the major exponents were the French artists Gustave Moreau and Odilon Redon, the Belgians Fernand Khnopff and Félicien Rops, the Swiss Arnold Böcklin and Carlos Schwabe, and the Austrian Wilhelm List – all of whom are represented in the sale with significant works.
